Audit Committee

The main purpose of the Audit Committee is to be responsible for providing oversight of the Foundation Trust’s systems for governance, risk management and internal control. 

The Audit Committee is constituted as a standing committee of the Foundation Trust’s Board of Directors.  It is authorised by the Board of Directors to act within its terms of reference, to seek any information it requires, investigate any activity as defined within its terms of reference and to obtain outside professional advice as it considers necessary.
