Following feedback from our patients, Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (WWL) is moving towards reducing the number of colours worn by its Senior Nursing, Midwifery and AHP leadership teams. In line with the Trust’s long-term plan to move over to more sustainable, less branded, more comfortable uniforms, the changes have been made to those groups where current uniforms have become unavailable, or as part of the new leadership visibility plan.
Chief Nursing Officer, Kev Parker-Evans, commented: “I am keen to make sure that the public, our patients and our staff understand who can support them and who are leaders are across the organisation.”
