Who I am Professionally
I am an Orthopaedic consultant and my clinical practice is exclusively surgery of the Hand, Wrist and Elbow. In Addition I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Human Bone cell research group at the the University of Liverpool and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Salford.
I am on the Specialist Register as an Orthopaedic surgeon.

NHS
I am a full time Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Wrightington Hospital in the North West of England, and also have sessions at Booth Hall Childrens' Hospital in Manchester and Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.

Private Practice

Training
My specialist training originated in Liverpool (4 years), a  Whiston Hospital Plastic Surgery Hand Fellowship (6 months), a Wrightington Hospital Fellowship (2 years) and as a visiting Resident to the Mayo clinic in Rochester, USA (3 months)

All require a letter of referral from your family doctor (GP)

Who I am Socially
I am married with two children. My hobbies are centred on sport. I played rugby union at National level and Captained the English Universities Team. I had a serious neck injury which brought my contact sports career to a rapid halt and now play golf (badly) and attempt triathlons (slowly).
