Mr. Lamb is a highly qualified consultant surgeon specialising in hip and knee replacement. He holds a PhD in periprosthetic fracture research and has completed advanced fellowship training in lower limb arthroplasty, including robotic knee surgery. Mr. Lamb has a particular interest in the association between hip implant design and the risk of post-operative complications.
Qualifications:
Qualified from St George’s, University of London in 2010. FRCS (T+O).
Research:
PhD in periprosthetic fractures after hip replacement (University of Leeds).
Fellowships:
Robotic knee surgery in New Zealand and Thackray Fellowship in Wrightington.
Academic Work:
Consultant senior clinical lecturer with over 40 peer reviewed publications and current active research projects in hip and knee arthroplasty. Collaborates with the National Joint Registry on implant performance.
