Different cardiac disease management including chest pain, palpitation, Atrial fibrillation and anticoagulation, dyspnoea (short of breath and heart failure), loss of consciousness (syncopy)
Pre-operative cardiac assessment for patients undergoing non cardiac surgery. I have been running this specialised clinic for more than 10 years with excellent outcomes
Cardiac imaging, mainly Echocardiogram to assess heart murmurs and cardiac function Transoesophageal echo. I do exercise / Dobutamine stress echo for the diagnosis of angina according to NICE guidelines
Nuclear cardiology (Myocardial perfusion scan) for the diagnosis of ischemic heart disease

Dr Hamdan did a primary degree in Medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He started his cardiology training at the cardiology department University Hospital of Birmingham, UK between 1985 and 1996. After which Dr Hamdan moved to Wigan Infirmary.
Dr Hamdan is a member of the British and American society of Nuclear Cardiology 1994 – 1995 and has been a SAS doctors lead / tutor since 2009.
