Falls Prevention Service
OVERVIEW:
The Falls Prevention Service consists of a specialist team which provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients who suffer with unsteadiness, falls and reduced balance.
- About Us
The aim of the service is to help patients through the diagnosis of the causes of falls, provide intervention and management of falls risks, promote independence, reduce falls and fractures, improve postural stability, provide health promotion and improve patient confidence and thus reduce their fears of falling.
The service runs three clinics per week at Lower Ince Health Centre. Therapeutic interventions are under taken in patient home and we work in partnership with Inspiring Health Lifestyles (IHL).
We are open Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm, with the answering machine checked daily.
