Integrated Health Service Team (IHST)
OVERVIEW:
The Integrated Health Service Team is commissioned by Wigan Council to meet the needs of the top 2% of the most vulnerable pregnant women, and their families, across Wigan Borough.

The team provides holistic one to one support based on family needs, which is ongoing after the baby is born.
The Integrated Health Service Team team consists of three midwives and two midwifery support workers, two early communication therapists, a family support worker and admin support.
- Accessing Our Services
The service has been commissioned to meet the needs of the most vulnerable expectant mothers and families living in the Wigan Borough.
Referrals are made on the whole by Community Midwives. Health Visitors can also refer in to the team using the following referral form:
